LABOR DOULA SERVICES
As your labor doula, I will come alongside you to offer informational, emotional, and physical support during pregnancy and birth. My job is to support and honor your wishes for whatever kind of birth you are wanting to have. I work with you and your care team to support you on that journey. Sometimes this means helping you find the information you need for the decisions you have to make. Sometimes this means giving your partner tips on how they can best support you through the next contraction. Sometimes this means rubbing your back, giving an encouraging word, or reminding your medical team what is on your birth plan.

POSTPARTUM SERVICES
As your postpartum doula, I will come alongside to offer support in the first few weeks and months after you give birth. These can be exhausting days coping with breastfeeding in the night, hormonal changes postpartum, and taking care of a new little one. I am there to assist with things like breastfeeding support, professional referrals, laundry, dishes, making a meal, holding the baby while you take a nap/shower, reading to your other kids, or giving you a foot massage.
Some people know they want a postpartum doula before the baby is born, and they meet with me in person before the birth. I then keep a spot available on my calendar around the estimated due date. Others call me because the baby is already here and they need urgent assistance. Either way, reach out and we can talk about your individual situation.
HOME BAKED COOKIES & BARS
Often in the busy days and weeks after birth, people don’t get the nourishment they need. I love baking healthy snacks for breastfeeding moms and offer several gluten-free and vegan cookie & breakfast bar options. These can be made ahead of time and delivered to you or made in your home during postpartum visits.
Fees and Pricing
Labor Doula Packages
Basic Labor Doula Package – $980
Includes: Two 1-2 hr. prenatal visits to go over your birth plan, talk about comfort measures, and answer any questions you may have. In-person support throughout active labor and for several hours after delivery. Two 1 hr. postpartum visits to see how you’re doing, answer questions, go over your birth story… I will be available to come for your birth (“on call” 24/7) starting at 38 weeks of pregnancy until the baby comes, telephone support as needed throughout pregnancy/postpartum period, a backup doula if needed, use of birth ball, peanut ball, rebozo, and massage oil. “Lactation cookies” brought to postpartum visit.
Extra Prenatal Help Birth Package – $1080
Includes: All of the above with additional two 2-hour prenatal visits (helpful for those who want a doula to accompany them to their prenatal visits with their OB/midwife or help setting up room/house before baby arrives)
Postpartum Support
1-2 hour Postpartum Visit – $40hr
3 + hours Postpartum Visit – $30/hr
Overnight Postpartum Shift – $50/hr
Home Baked Cookies and Bars
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip “Lactation Cookies” – $20/dozen
Saralyn’s Chia Bars – $20/dozen
These vegan and gluten free cookies and bars are made from the highest quality ingredients I can source, are mostly organic, and include foods that contain nutrients helpful for lactation including ingredients such as gluten-free oats, coconut oil, almond flour, chia and flax seed. Please let me know if you need cookies or bars made to accommodate special dietary needs!! I love new challenges and being creative!
I offer free complimentary 30-60 minute meet and greet times to get to know you and see if my doula services would be a good fit.
